What is Regard3D?

Regard3D is a free and open-source structure-from-motion application that enables users to create three-dimensional models of objects by processing a series of photographs taken from different angles. Leveraging advanced photogrammetry techniques, the software analyzes the spatial relationships between images to reconstruct the three-dimensional geometry of the subject. This process, known as structure-from-motion, allows Regard3D to generate accurate and detailed 3D representations without the need for specialized hardware or equipment. The application supports a wide range of input formats, including JPEG, PNG, and TIFF, and can produce output models in popular 3D file formats, facilitating seamless integration with various design, visualization, and simulation tools
