What is Rhythmbox?

Rhythmbox is a free and open-source audio player, tag editor, and music organizer for digital audio files. Designed to work seamlessly with the GNOME Desktop, this application leverages the GStreamer media framework to provide comprehensive support for a wide range of audio formats. Users can effortlessly browse, search, and sort their music collections, while also accessing internet radio stations, including last.fm streams. Rhythmbox offers a range of advanced features, such as playlist management, audio visualizations, and the ability to transfer music to and from various portable devices, including iPods, MTP-enabled players, and USB mass storage devices. Additionally, the application can automatically download audio podcasts, including those from iTunes, and allows users to browse, preview, and download albums from Magnatune and Jamendo
