What is Riseup?

Riseup is an organization that provides a suite of secure online communication tools for individuals and groups engaged in liberatory social change. It aims to create democratic alternatives and enable self-determination by offering users control over their own secure means of communication. Riseup's services include private email accounts accessible via web, shell, IMAP, or POP, as well as mailing lists for activist organizations. Additionally, the organization is currently testing VPN, chat, etherpad, and file sharing services, which are still under development and may not be entirely reliable
