What is Sharik?

Sharik is an open-source, cross-platform solution for sharing files via Wi-Fi or Mobile Hotspot. This app allows users to easily send photos, apps, files, text, and various other content to any device connected to the same network. After selecting a language and navigating the introductory steps, users can access the main screen, which displays sharing buttons and a history of shared files. The app supports sharing a wide range of file types, including images, documents, installed apps, and plain text. When initiating a file transfer, users are shown the connectivity status and a URL that the receiving device can use to access the shared content. If both devices have the Sharik app installed, the process is even simpler - users can click the "Receive" button, and the app will detect and display any available shared files on the local network, allowing the transfer to commence Sharik is entirely free to use and does not contain any advertisements. Additionally, the app's source code is published on GitHub, enabling users to contribute to its development, such as adding new language support or submitting code improvements
