What is Shelfit?

Shelfit is a versatile desktop utility that simplifies file management and multitasking. It allows users to quickly create virtual shelves to temporarily store and organize various digital assets, including images, videos, files, folders, and even text selections or web links. With Shelfit, users can effortlessly drag and drop content onto these shelves, which remain accessible even after closing the application, ensuring seamless access to the stored items whenever needed. The tool offers the flexibility to open multiple shelves, each of which can be renamed for better organization. The shelf manager provides a centralized view and control over all open shelves, enabling users to clean them out with a single click. Shelfit also offers advanced features, such as the ability to list and interact with individual files within a shelf, performing actions like opening, renaming, copying, deleting, or transferring them to another shelf. For enhanced productivity, the application allows users to quickly compress an entire shelf into a zip file and even upload it to a cloud storage service for easy sharing, with a file size limit of 100MB and a 24-hour availability period. Shelfit is designed to be unobtrusive, residing in the system tray and seamlessly integrating with the user's workflow, providing quick access through keyboard shortcuts, mouse gestures, or a simple drag-and-drop interaction
