What is Shotwell?
Shotwell is an open-source photo organizer application optimized for the GNOME desktop environment. It allows users to efficiently manage and edit their digital photo collections. Shotwell provides tools to import photos from various sources, including local folders and connected digital cameras. The application automatically groups related photos based on the capture time. Users can further organize their collections using tags and ratings.
