What is Sid Meier's Railroads!?

Sid Meier's Railroads! is a business simulation game that tasks players with constructing and managing a successful railroad empire. Developed by the renowned game designer Sid Meier, this sequel to Railroad Tycoon 3 utilizes the Gamebryo game engine and was originally released in October 2006. While Meier created the original Railroad Tycoon, subsequent titles in the franchise were developed by PopTop Software. Inspired by a visit to the Miniatur Wunderland in Hamburg, Germany, Meier sought to reinvent his classic creation. A version of the game for Mac OS X was later published by Feral Interactive in November 2012 under their Feral Legends label
