slimRAW is a fast CinemaDNG compressor that saves storage space and reduces storage throughput requirements for CinemaDNG raw video production. It offers a choice of lossless compression and various lossy compression ratios, allowing users to balance storage efficiency with image quality. The compressed CinemaDNG files remain compatible with industry-standard video production software, enabling a transparent workflow. slimRAW preserves the full original image quality when using lossless compression, and it also supports the ability to downscale CinemaDNG raw video and generate raw proxies for smooth editing and grading, while achieving up to a 28:1 reduction in the raw data footprint. The application is highly optimized for parallel processing and is available for both Microsoft Windows and Apple OS X
