What is SlingPlayer?

SlingPlayer Mobile is a software application that allows users to stream live or recorded television from their home Slingbox device to their iPhone or iPod touch. With a Slingbox at home and the SlingPlayer Mobile app on a compatible mobile device, users can enjoy their television content over a 3G or Wi-Fi connection. The app provides a virtual remote control, enabling users to pause, rewind, fast-forward, and even schedule DVR recordings, as well as access video-on-demand and pay-per-view programs.
