What is SliTaz?

SliTaz GNU/Linux is a lightweight, portable operating system that runs entirely in RAM and can be booted from removable media such as CD-ROMs or USB drives. Weighing less than 40MB, this free and open-source system offers a clean, robust, and intuitive user experience with a detailed documentation and easy-to-use configuration tools. SliTaz's small footprint of around 100MB for the root filesystem and less than 40MB for the ISO image, makes it an ideal choice for older or resource-constrained devices.
