What is SmokeD?

The SmokeD system leverages artificial intelligence and machine learning to provide early detection of wildfires in woodland areas. The innovative camera hardware, coupled with powerful computer vision algorithms, can rapidly identify the presence of smoke or flames from as far as 10 miles away, with an average detection time of just 5 minutes. Upon detection, the system immediately sends alerts directly to users' mobile devices, enabling local communities, neighbors, and fire response teams to be notified in a timely manner
