What is Space Simulator?

Space Simulator is a comprehensive and immersive space flight simulation app available for iOS and Android platforms. The app offers an open-ended simulation, allowing players to freely explore the Solar System or reenact historical NASA space missions. Users can launch from Kennedy Space Center, orbit the Earth and Moon, dock with the International Space Station, perform Trans Lunar Injections, land on the Moon, practice rendezvous, and return home with reentry and splashdown. The app features an interactive orbit planner, enabling players to easily visualize, create, and modify complex interplanetary orbits. Space Simulator offers spaceships with fully functional 3D cockpits, controls, and instruments, allowing users to experience the full challenges of space flight. The app includes a custom mission editor, enabling players to create hypothetical scenarios of past, present, and future space programs, as well as step-by-step interactive tutorials of the Apollo Program lunar missions, from launch to landing on the Moon and reentry. The simulation utilizes aerodynamics models and a revolutionary physics engine based on real gravitational forces, distances, and velocities, providing an unprecedented level of realism powered by a metal-based graphics engine. The app also features an emulation of the Apollo computers, running actual code from the 1960s, and a configurable window-based UI with comprehensive customization options to suit player preferences and device capabilities. With over 50 ready-to-fly missions, Space Simulator offers a comprehensive and immersive space exploration experience
