What is SparkyLinux?
SparkyLinux is a Debian-based Linux distribution that offers a ready-to-use, out-of-the-box operating system with a selection of slightly customized lightweight desktops. Sparky is designed to cater to computer users who want to replace their existing, proprietary-driven operating systems with an open-sourced alternative. The distribution is targeted towards two distinct groups of users: Home Editions, which come pre-installed with a comprehensive set of tools, codecs, plugins, and drivers, catering to users who want everything set up and ready to go from the first system boot and Base Editions, which provide a minimal set of tools, aimed at advanced users who prefer to customize their setup
