What is Splat?
Splat is a versatile program that empowers users to build customized launch profiles to streamline their workflow. This tool offers the ability to launch a wide range of applications, files, folders, and URLs, as well as the capability to close or kill processes and start/stop services. Users can control the order of these actions and insert time-based or CPU-usage-based delays to fine-tune the execution. Splat's extensive hotkey support allows users to assign unique hotkeys to each launch profile or use a single hotkey to trigger multiple profiles. Profiles can be launched through the main interface, hotkeys, or the tray icon, making it seamlessly accessible. Use cases for Splat include startup profiles to manage the timing and order of applications at boot, pre-gaming profiles to close/kill/stop unwanted processes and services, post-gaming profiles to open/start those same processes and services, URL groups to launch sets of websites, and development profiles to start up IDEs, debuggers, and more. To utilize the service starting/stopping functionality, Splat requires administrative rights
