What is Syspeace?
Syspeace is a comprehensive intrusion detection and prevention system designed to protect Microsoft Windows Servers from brute force attacks. The software automatically blocks malicious login attempts, providing administrators with detailed information about the attack, including the attacker's DNS name, country of origin, and the username used. Syspeace works out of the box, but can also be customized to meet the specific needs of your organization
Highlights
- Local Whitelist: Allows you to exclude certain IP addresses from being considered as attacks, ensuring that legitimate users are not locked out of the internal network
- Local Blacklist: Enables manual blocking of specific IP addresses, such as those belonging to former employees or known threats
- Global Blacklist: Taps into a centralized database of observed attackers, allowing Syspeace to preemptively block widespread threats across all its customers
- Homeland Protection with Geo-blocking: Allows you to set up rules to block login attempts from countries that have no business accessing your servers
- Email reports: Provides alerts on important events, such as when an attacker is blocked, a block expires, or the service status changes, as well as daily and weekly summaries of attack and blocking activity.
