What is SystemRescue?
SystemRescue is a Linux-based toolkit that provides a bootable medium for administering or repairing computer systems and data after a system crash. The toolkit aims to offer an easy way to perform administrative tasks on computers, such as creating and editing hard disk partitions. It includes a variety of Linux system utilities, including GParted, fsarchiver, file system tools, and basic tools like editors, Midnight Commander, and network tools. This rescue system can be used for both Linux and Windows computers, on desktops as well as servers. It requires no installation, as it can be booted from a CD/DVD drive or USB stick, but it can also be installed on the hard disk if desired. The kernel supports all important file systems, such as ext4, XFS, Btrfs, VFAT, and NTFS, as well as network file systems like Samba and NFS
