What is The Darkness II?

Wielding the ancient force of chaos known as The Darkness, you must navigate the gritty underbelly of New York City as Jackie Estacado, don of a crime family, in this intense first-person shooter. Building upon the gameplay of its predecessor, The Darkness II introduces new features that allow for dynamic combat scenarios. Players can now "quad wield," simultaneously utilizing The Darkness' demonic appendages and conventional firearms. A single Darkling companion is integrated into the narrative and can assist the player in various situations. The Demon Arms grant the ability to pick up and hurl enemies or environmental objects as projectile weapons and shields. Each kill, execution, and devoured heart earns Essence points, which can be spent to unlock new abilities at Talent Shrines, further empowering the player's arsenal
