What is The Outer Worlds?

The player takes on the role of a colonist, lost in transit while en route to the furthest edge of the galaxy. Upon awakening decades later, they find themselves caught in the midst of a deep conspiracy threatening the Halcyon colony. As the player explores the far reaches of space and encounters various factions vying for power, the decisions they make shape the trajectory of the player-driven narrative. The player's character and choices become the unplanned variable in the corporate equation governing the colony
