What is The Uniform Server?

The Uniform Server is a free, portable WAMP server solution for Windows that allows users to set up a local web development environment with minimal hassle. Weighing in at less than 24MB, this modular package includes the latest versions of Apache2, Perl5, and multiple versions of PHP (53, 54, 55, or 56) as well as MySQL5 or MariaDB5. Users can also choose between phpMyAdmin or Adminer4 for database management. The Uniform Server requires no installation - simply unpack the files and run the server, without any registry modifications. This makes it a versatile tool for developers to test their PHP, MySQL, Perl, or Apache-based applications on their local machines
