What is Thredded?

Open source, self-hosted forums that offer feature-rich and lightning-fast functionality. Thredded works as a standalone application or can be integrated into a Ruby on Rails app as an engine. It uses Markdown formatting by default, with support for code highlighting, KaTeX math, and BBCode. No JavaScript is required, and deployment is easy on Heroku or with Ansible
