What is Treecomp?
TreeComp is an interactive utility that enables users to maintain synchronization between two directory trees and the files contained within those directories. It utilizes a treeview control to display the combined directory structure, with intuitive icons indicating the status of each directory. Users can launch programs like Microsoft's WinDiff or WinMerge to view differences between files with the same name by simply double-clicking on them. Additionally, users can directly open editors for files residing in either of the two trees. After reviewing the differences, users can interactively copy or delete files as needed, making TreeComp a versatile and indispensable tool that far exceeds the capabilities of basic file copying commands like xcopy /s /e
