What is uTox?

The Tox client provides a versatile and efficient communication experience across multiple platforms. Designed with a focus on minimalism and speed, this lightweight application offers a suite of features that cater to diverse user needs. Available for Windows, OS X, and Linux, with experimental Android support, Tox empowers users to engage in seamless text-based chat, file transfers, audio/video calling, and desktop sharing functionalities. Additionally, the client supports text-based group chats, with audio group capabilities set to be introduced in the upcoming Toxcore update
