What is VDrift?
VDrift is a cross-platform, open-source driving simulation that was developed with a focus on drift racing. The game's driving physics engine has been completely rewritten from the ground up, although it was inspired by and owes much to the Vamos physics engine. VDrift is released under the GNU General Public License (GPL) v3 and is currently available for Linux, FreeBSD, Mac OS X, and Windows operating systems. Although the game is still in its early stages of development, it is already highly playable and offers a range of features, including simulation-grade driving physics, tracks based on famous real-world circuits, cars modeled after real-world vehicles, and the ability to compete against AI players. Users can control the game using a variety of input devices, such as a mouse, joystick, gamepad, steering wheel, or keyboard
