What is Virtual MIDI Piano Keyboard?
Virtual MIDI Piano Keyboard allows users to generate and receive MIDI events without producing any sound directly. It can be utilized to drive a MIDI synthesizer, whether hardware or software, internal or external. Users can leverage their computer's keyboard or mouse to play MIDI notes, and the application can also display the MIDI notes played from another instrument or MIDI file player by connecting the other MIDI port to the input port of Virtual MIDI Piano Keyboard. The application has been tested and proven to function on Linux, Windows, and macOS, and users may be able to build it on other systems as well, in which case they are encouraged to reach out to the author
