What is WikiIndex?
WikiIndex is a collaborative platform that serves as a comprehensive catalog of all things related to wikis, including wiki-based people, software, farms, and ideas. Launched in 2006, this ongoing project aims to self-organize information through collective efforts, building on the pioneering work of Ward Cunningham a decade prior. As a wiki itself, WikiIndex's pages are created and edited by its community of contributors, encouraging active participation. Users are invited to add their own wikis, create new pages, and upload relevant content, further expanding this dynamic repository of wiki-centric knowledge. WikiIndex's community portal acts as a central hub, welcoming users to engage with and shape this evolving resource
