What is Windows BitLocker?

BitLocker Drive Encryption is a data protection feature that ensures the security of data stored on computers, protecting against theft or exposure from lost, stolen, or improperly decommissioned devices. It integrates seamlessly with the operating system and utilizes a Trusted Platform Module (TPM), either discrete or firmware, that supports the Static Root of Trust Measurement as defined by the Trusted Computing Group. BitLocker can encrypt entire hard drives, including both system and data drives, providing comprehensive offline data and operating system protection
