What is Windows Journal?

The Windows Journal application allows users to handwrite notes and create drawings directly on their device screen. Although a graphics tablet or Tablet PC is recommended for optimal handwriting and drawing capabilities, the application also supports composing handwritten content using a standard computer mouse, though this may prove less comfortable for the user. The application provides a dedicated platform for freeform digital note-taking and sketching, enabling users to capture ideas and information in a natural, intuitive manner
