What is WordQ & SpeakQ?

WordQ-SpeakQ is an assistive technology that empowers struggling writers by providing word prediction, speech feedback, spell-checking, proofreading, and voice recognition capabilities. The application learns from the user's writing patterns to continually enhance its prediction accuracy, making it an increasingly valuable tool for those who face challenges with written communication. The iPad version, iWordQ, offers a user-friendly interface designed to assist both struggling writers and readers. In Writing mode, the application provides a text editor with word prediction, abbreviation expansion, and speech feedback features, as well as spell-check and dictionary access. For users with an iPad 3, 4, or mini, the SpeakQ add-on enables voice recognition functionality. The Reading mode presents text in a visually appealing format to improve readability, supporting proofreading, reading to learn, silent reading, reading aloud, and casual reading/listening. A novel text chunking method, currently patent-pending, can be selected to enhance comprehension and readability by allowing the user to focus on one text chunk at a time
