What is x2vnc (win2vnc)?
This application enables users to seamlessly control and share content across two separate computers as if they were a single, integrated system. By opening a small, discreet window on the edge of the user's primary display, the program leverages the Remote Framebuffer (RFB) protocol to transmit mouse movements and keystrokes to a VNC server running on a secondary device. When the user's cursor approaches the opposite edge of the primary screen, the mouse control is automatically released, providing a fluid and intuitive cross-device experience
Highlights
- Cross-device control: Allows users to control a secondary computer from their primary device as if the screens were physically connected
- Remote Framebuffer (RFB) protocol: Utilizes the RFB protocol to transmit input commands (mouse, keyboard) between the two devices
- Seamless transition: Automatically transfers mouse control between the primary and secondary screens when the cursor reaches the edge.
