What is xGestures?
xGestures enables users to utilize mouse gestures across various aspects of the macOS operating system. With xGestures, users can add standard directional mouse gestures and rocker gestures to the Finder, Safari, and any other preferred applications, as well as apply them system-wide. This functionality allows users to perform a wide range of actions through gesture-based controls, including closing and minimizing windows, launching and switching applications, selecting menu items, executing keystrokes, and triggering Expos. The developer of xGestures, while no longer actively maintaining the application, has ensured its continued functionality in the latest macOS versions, including macOS 11.5.2 and Monterey.
