What is XLiveCD?
XLiveCD enables Windows users to access and control remote Unix computers, allowing them to run graphical applications and view the output directly on their desktop. The software is designed to run directly from a CD, eliminating the need for installation. XLiveCD was developed by University Technology Services at Indiana University to facilitate the use of research Unix systems by Windows users on campus. With a bit of additional effort, the software can also be transformed into a portable application
