What is Frhed?

The Frhed (Free Hex Editor) is an open-source binary file editor designed for Windows, offering a versatile set of advanced features packed into a compact application. Originally developed by Raihan Kibria and later merged with the binary editor component of the open-source WinMerge project, Frhed has since been maintained within the WinMerge repository on GitHub. Boasting the ability to handle large files partially, Frhed provides users with a wide range of capabilities, including powerful string replacement functionality and support for multiple languages
